OBJECT TRANSFER STATION
Object Transfer Station is a one-on-one immersive and participatory theater piece. Participants are asked by a government agency, The Department of Objects, to bring in something they would like to discard. In an outpost called the Object Transfer Station, participants are then interrogated by a Department agent and asked to reveal all that they know about their item.
Half speculative fiction and half immersive theater, Object Transfer Station highlights what we do not know about the vast majority of our possessions, no matter how seemingly important or inconsequential, and brings a greater awareness to one of our most massive societal challenges, trash.
