A Trash Happening October 24th, 2021 in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York
10 artists came together to make this piece through a style of chain curation (one artist brought on an artist, who brought on another artist, who brought on another artist). We structured our plans for the piece separately, but, very much like live weaving, took our disparate threads and began creating something new together in the two hours.
The result was an improvisational meditation on the life cycle of trash: it's death, rebirth and evolution.
